This was the stage set up for the Intonarumori performance at I-Spy in February of 2000. The goal was to be able to have a loop or two playing while I was creating a third, giving more possibilities for non-repeating sonic textures. The headrush was used to create shorter loops. Those loops and whatever I chose to add could then be recorded into the boomerang. Once the boomerang was going I could then load new material into the headrush. The DL-4 allowed me to have a parallel loop working which could be added to or not and could be processed by the vortex independantly.
